Despite his appeals for other IRA members to testify, only one, Raymond McCartney, has so far done so. Since McCartney has always claimed that he joined the IRA in response to what he witnessed on Bloody Sunday, and therefore can have no first-hand knowledge of their actions, his evidence as to IRA involvement or otherwise is of questionable value.
