The algorithm has three subclasses to deal with different phantom situations, such as the 2D phantom, 3D regular phantom and 3D mesh phantom. The surface reconstruction algorithm class includes the Marching Cubes algorithm which can extract the equivalent surface mesh data from the volume data obtained by CT or MRI. The equivalent surface can then be used to define the geometry information of the tissue used in the simulation experiment.
